The software's simple nature greatly simplifies managing both subcontractors on site and my own team. Its intuitive design ensures that everyone, from subcontractors to my in-house team, can easily navigate and use the features. This ease of use has significantly improved our workflow and efficiency on site, allowing us to focus more on the actual work rather than getting bogged down by complicated process.

Cons

Some features like RFI's need to be addressed, and I need to check the Programme / SOW simplicity.

Improves your processes, communication and reduces paperwork

For our business, the benefits have been: -less paperwork on sites, especially the number of forms and permits that need completing. -Increased visibility on our H&S and QA docs for audits and clients -Improved communication between our site team and the office, with real-time updates and photos on issues or changes to the scope -Less admin work on the handover packs after a job. No more WhatsApp groups with photos that need labels or missing photos. It's all organized and ready to go to the client.

Cons

We eagerly await new features - each update is an extra perk, and we want them as soon as we hear about them. They deliver quickly, but we wish they could come even sooner!

The Fonn-damentals

Pros

The software is very easy and self-explanatory; it looks very clean, which makes it more enjoyable to use. We are still in the early stages of setting up and using the software, but so far, we really like the simplicity and user integration.

Cons

I would like more budgeting tools and maybe a bit more production scheduling. I know some of these are in the works, so I just need to be patient.

Custom Home Builder

Pros

Easy to communicate with the team in the field instead of having to write things down and communicate back at a computer or text from a phone.

Cons

Occasionally, notifications don't pop up right away and might appear a day or two later.

Fantastic Industry Focused Project Management Tool

Pros

We like how it collates documents and allows you to upload changes and amendments to previous docs, keeping tabs on everything.

Cons

The interface keeps getting better, but it can take a few tries to get used to it at first. Once familiar, it works smoothly.

Excellent daily tool for project management

The ease of use for new team members is excellent. We can introduce Fonn on new projects with new teams, and they can start using it immediately. The interface is easy to understand.

It would be helpful to include some industry standards like the RIBA Plan of Work.

Pros

Fonn has many features that we consider the best. The purpose of using Project Management software is to have everything in one place. Fonn has done an impeccable job of building software that does just that. Our project teams can build schedules, submit RFIs and Submittals, create Meeting Minutes, perform Safety checks, document project progress, manage subcontractors, and even track warranty issues, all from one place that is easy to use. Another challenge we face is not always having wireless internet. The application is built to work without connectivity, and any updates made will be added to Fonn when the user is back online.

Cons

Integrating new software into an established company is always tough. Fonn uses Checklists as its core. Initially, using a checklist for documentation and management seemed flimsy, but the Fonn support team quickly showed its robustness and sophistication.

It is accessible and simple for accessing the latest project documentation on the go or from the office.

Cons

A calendar option would be useful for tracking site visits, meetings, project milestones, and site activities.

Customer Service

Pros

My salesperson, from support team, was very helpful in getting me started on the software, explaining how it worked, and how to implement my information. The software was not the best fit for me, but I could see how it could work great for others.

It was a bit too complicated for my business.
