Great tool but could be a lot better

Pros

ADvendio CRM really shines for media sales processes as everything from customer management and classifications to offers, order confirmations and reporting works smoothly. The cloud-based setup means I dont have to worry about backups or maintenance and the uptime has been perfect so far. Also there is a mobile app and I can access everything through any browser when I am on the go. Creating reports is pretty simple too. I mean just a few clicks and I can generate clear and meaningful analytics that even include graphics. Even management loves these presentations. And with proper data maintenance which is essential for any system I can quickly build customer selections, send tracked mailings and pull up complete interaction histories for each client. And the fact that it is built on Salesforce gives me confidence about long-term support and finding help when needed.

Cons

Managing the platform alongside other responsibilities is not easy. As you will quickly hit limits and wont be able to fully use its potential. As a salesperson with some IT knowledge but not a tech expert I found the learning curve steep for anyone without strong database skills. The ad server integration also needs work. After setting up the GAM360 connection, creating bookings through the system takes much longer than directly in the ad server though you lose client matching that way. Getting a full view of customer bookings takes too many clicks across different pages as I expected a more simple overview. Also there is no option to add custom calculations in reports like creating a column that shows field A x 12% despite multiple support requests.

Needs a lot of improvements

Pros

I really like how well and smoothly this integrates with Salesforce as it makes everything feel seamless and pretty simple. Also the speed is impressive too. Everything loads quickly and keeps me moving through my tasks without delays.

Cons

Sometimes it crashes right in the middle of what I am doing which annoys me a lot.

Very well designed

Pros

ADvendio software is easy to pick up and navigate. Also the interface feels really user friendly and I did not need much training to get started.

Cons

The interface feels pretty clunky at times particularly when I am working with third-party integrations and plug-ins. Plus customer support could definitely use some improvement too.
