What Is Flowcode?

Flowcode is an Enterprise QR code platform that lets businesses generate, customize, and track QR codes by connecting offline audiences to their brand, CRM, and analytics. Users can personalize their codes and adjust landing pages to improve the scan-to-conversion rates over time. Moreover, each code stays editable after it has been printed, so the businesses can update it anytime without reissuing it. This way Flowcode turns everyday physical touchpoints into ones a business can track and update.

What Is Flowcode Best For?

Flowcode stands out for its “FlowID and Personalization,” which enables users to turn the scanning of their codes into first-party customer identity. Each anonymous scan and click is compiled in a specific single identity, which can be further linked with other Flowcode modules. Moreover, data is transferred automatically to CRM due to its two-way synchronization with a brand’s existing CRMs. In this regard, brands can personalize experiences as per user identity, track performances, and build audience segments.

How Much Does Flowcode Cost?

Flowcode price starts at $60/month for its Pro Plus plan from its Flowcode 1 Individual package. The platform has two specific pricing packages, Flowcode 1 Individuals and Flowcode 2 for Enterprise. The details are as follows:

  • Flowcode 1 Individuals:
    • Free: Free of cost
    • Growth: $250/month (billed annually)
  • Flowcode 2 for Enterprise:
    • Growth Plus: Custom pricing
    • Enterprise: Custom pricing

In addition to the base subscription cost, organizations should also account for additional expenses. These include:

  • Onboarding And Custom Use Case Setup: Estimated $500–$5,000 one-time fee, scaling with campaign complexity
  • API Access And Rate Card Usage: Around $0.01–$0.05 per API call/code generated beyond the plan's included quota, or $200–$1,500/month add-on for higher-volume programmatic access
  • White Label And Custom Branding Studio: $100–$1,000/month depending on scope
  • Additional Workspaces And Seats: Approximately $10–$30/seat/month, or $50–$200/month per additional Workspace, with enterprise agreements often bundling a set number before overage kicks in.
  • SmartFlow Optimization And Conversion Pixel Usage: Around $50–$500/month based on tracked conversion volume or number of active pixels/integrations (Meta, Google, TikTok)
  • Dedicated Customer Success Support: Around $300–$2,000/month (or bundled into annual enterprise contracts)

Reviewers describe Flowcode's pricing as a pain point, especially for small businesses. Several note that costs have risen since they signed up, and say they actively try to reduce subscription spending. Users also mention that moving up to higher tiers brings a jump in cost.

Flowcode Use Cases

Based on our analysis of Flowcode features, we have identified the following key business scenarios where it is well suited:

CPG Turning Product Packaging Into An Ongoing CRM Touchpoint

Flowcode helps consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands use their packaging for an interactive product experience. They can make changes to the code route as per their current updates for introducing new content like loyalty sign-ups and promotional offers. It helps them capture engagement data like geographical location, device type, or conversion behavior. Moreover, this data is synced to a brand’s existing CRM due to its pre-built integrations, which they can later use for their marketing lifecycle.

Hospitality Businesses Managing High Volume Guest Interactions

Businesses like airports and hotels rely on Flowcode to turn their physical touchpoints into meaningful data. It helps them engage guests during their pre-arrival or check-in to present loyalty offers. For example, its FlowID tools help build a personalized identity of each guest for an omnichannel experience. This enables not only guest engagement but also centralized brand management. Furthermore, they can also use signages and displays to provide guests with real-time direction, itineraries, and other resources.

Financial Institutions Connecting Offline Channels Into One Funnel

Banks and insurance providers can now use their brand signages, POS materials, and other offline channels to connect customers with their digital services. For instance, they can provide educational content via brochures, branch displays, and ATMs, so customers have easy access to the right product information and onboarding guides. Moreover, brands can use specific codes for individuals, households, or offers for personalized experiences, and eventually measure ROI.

Sports Organizations Linking Venue And Broadcast Moments To Fan Data

Flowcode enables sports organizations to connect high attention moments like stadium displays, seat tags, and broadcast graphics with identifiable fan interactions. Organizations can set specific code for seats or other such physical points that an individual can scan for relevant offers, contests, or team content. This way teams and leagues can turn anonymous attendance, viewership, data into usable fan records for follow-up engagement.

Is Flowcode Right For You?

Flowcode is a reasonable choice if your brand needs QR codes that look intentional, matched to your visual identity, and if you want to track and adjust what happens after someone scans one. It's a stronger fit for teams already thinking about QR codes as a data-capture and personalization channel rather than a one-off utility.

Trusted by renowned names such as ESPN, Ford, and Paramount, Flowcode is CCPA, GDPR, and SOC 2 Type 2 compliant.

Flowcode Features

FlowURLs

This feature provides branded short links for digital touchpoints where QR code is not practical, like in an email, a caption, or a text message. It connects digital marketing with real-world campaigns. In this regard, it provides analytics, customer IDs, and personalized experiences through dynamic routing and adaptive landing pages.

See How It Works
FlowHubs

FlowHubs are landing pages built to sit behind a Flowcode or FlowURL, built mobile first since most scans happen on a phone. Instead of sending traffic straight to an external website, a business gets a page it fully controls. That is styled to match its branding and built around whatever action the campaign is meant to drive.

See How It Works
Analytics

This feature tracks scans, conversions, and engagement in real time through a dashboard, with reporting that can be adjusted to whatever a team needs to see. Conversion Pixel extends tracking past the Flowcode ecosystem to external websites. Moreover, its “SmartFlow” tool uses AI to test different versions of a landing page and shift traffic toward whichever one performs better.

See How It Works
Workspaces

Workspaces let a business manage codes, links, and pages across multiple teams, brands, or partners from one shared account instead of scattered logins. Admins keep centralized control over data and permissions while individual teams still get access to run their own codes and campaigns day to day.

Best solution so far!

Pros

I really like how flexible this is for making QR codes that actually look good with my designs. Being able to quickly change where the code directs people is super handy too. It's simple to use and just works really well overall.

Cons

Organizing QR codes can be very frustrating at times. The color options for designing codes in the builder are also quite limited and I'd really appreciate more flexibility there.

Reliable QR Solution with minor issues

Pros

I'm impressed by how simple it is to create QR codes and customize them with our company branding. Saving and reusing designs is effortless, plus duplicating codes when needed saves tons of time. What really stands out is the ability to build landing pages that connect to QR codes and you can include information, documents, links and more all in one place.

Cons

I wish they'd bring back Flowtags for regular users instead of keeping it locked behind the enterprise paywall.

Satisfied with the overall experience

Pros

I really appreciate how simple it is to make custom QR codes. The design options are pretty flexible and what I love most is being able to redirect codes to different URLs while still tracking how well they're performing. We use this tool quite a bit for our print campaigns and digital displays. Their customer support team has been incredibly responsive and helpful whenever I've had questions.

Cons

The pricing tiers have become really challenging to use. When I first started using this platform in its early days, there was a much better balance between cost and features for each plan. Now there's barely any middle ground between the basic tier and having to upgrade to the premium level and we basically had no choice but to make the jump since the lower tier severely limits how many codes you can generate. The premium upgrade is a massive price increase and includes way more features than we actually need.
