“Clunky, counterintuitive and outdated”
Pros
There's only one minor drawback that I could think of the compatibility with Mac is not optimal.
Cons
Captivate is a rather clunky software. By "clunky," I mean that the interactions are counterintuitive, and creating interactions is incredibly time-consuming. The competing software offers a much better interface. Unfortunately, I had to use Captivate because I have a Mac computer, and my organization does not allow the use of parallels. After developing about three courses, I reached my limit. The development process took twice as long as it would have with the competing tool.
