Overview

Salesia helps businesses run field visits, retail orders, and sell-in reporting from one workspace that can also work offline. Some routing features may feel basic for teams with complex territories, but it can work well for keeping pharmacy and specialty retail orders flowing into the ERP without manual re-entry.

What Is Salesia?

Salesia is a sales platform for brands selling through retail outlets such as pharmacies, beauty salons, delis, and specialty stores. It brings field CRM, route planning, order intake, catalogue management, and sell-in reporting into one system that runs on desktop, tablet, and mobile. Orders from field visits, EDI, distributor APIs, email, and its own marketplace are consolidated and pushed to the brand's ERP. Salesia also runs a directory of independent multi-line sales agents, so brands can extend field coverage without hiring salaried reps.

What Is Salesia Best For?

Salesia is best known for building pharmacy commercial terms directly into the ordering process, including wholesaler prices, discount tiers, free-shipping thresholds, POS display bundling, and buying group agreements. Once negotiated, these terms apply to order lines automatically, without requiring manual recalculation. This suits brands selling through pharmacy chains and buying groups, where pricing errors on complex agreements can potentially delay orders and strain retailer relationships.

How Much Does Salesia Cost?

Salesia pricing starts at €0-€2/order ($0-$2.34/order) depending on order volume. The cost is based on usage rather than subscription or per-user license fees, and excludes VAT and other applicable taxes, with variable charges invoiced monthly in arrears and generally payable within 30 days.

Beyond the subscription, additional costs may apply for services outside the included scope, such as additional development and configuration, complex data migration, connector development, on-site training, migration assistance, and consulting, at €250/hour ($293/hour), excluding VAT.

Salesia Use Cases

Based on our analysis of Salesia features, we have identified a few scenarios where it fits well:

Emerging Brands Working With External Sales Agents

Brands expanding their pharmacy distribution may need field coverage across different territories without maintaining a fully salaried sales force in every area. Salesia's agent directory helps brands identify independent multi-line agents based on territory and sales channel, including pharmacies and parapharmacies. Agents and brand teams can then work in the same Salesia environment to manage field activities, visits, and orders.

Field Sales In Areas With Limited Connectivity

Sales representatives working in areas with unreliable connectivity may be unable to access records or submit orders while visiting retail outlets. Salesia allows synchronized records to remain available offline, while orders and visit reports entered without a connection are held locally and synchronized when connectivity returns.

Order Desks Handling EDI, Email, And Rep Orders Together

Sales admin teams may receive wholesaler EDI files, emailed purchase orders, and field orders that ultimately need to reach the same ERP. Managing these sources separately can require additional manual work. Salesia brings these channels into a centralized order hub that can connect with the ERP, helping teams manage orders from different sources in one workflow.

Brands That Have Outgrown A General CRM

Brands expanding across pharmacy and specialty retail networks may find that a general-purpose CRM requires additional configuration for workflows specific to these channels. Salesia natively supports pharmacy commercial terms, field visits, territory management, order taking, and multi-channel order handling. This gives growing brands a sales environment built around retail distribution rather than requiring them to adapt a general CRM to these workflows.

Is Salesia Right For You?

If your organization needs a CRM that keeps reps, distributors, and the ERP working from the same verified outlet records, Salesia is worth consideration. As distributor networks expand, its CSV and API connections also let new partners feed orders into the same system.

Data is hosted in Frankfurt, encrypted with AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.2/1.3 in transit, and backed by 30 days of point-in-time recovery. Salesia's hosting providers maintain SOC 2 Type II attestations and ISO 27001 certifications, while its GDPR Data Processing Agreement (DPA) requires breach notification within 24 hours.

Salesia Features

CRM

The CRM module stores verified accounts for each retail outlet, using identifiers such as SIRET and GLN to match accounts to the correct establishment. Product references can also be identified using CIP codes. Each account can show recent order activity and sell-in history, giving reps context before a visit. These identifiers can also help Salesia connect orders from distributors or marketplaces with the appropriate outlet and product within the centralized order workflow.

SFA And Routes

Salesia software supports route planning and visit reports for field sales teams. The platform displays planned stops, travel distance, visit status, and customer information within the route view, allowing representatives to manage their daily field activities.

See How It Works
Marketplace

The Marketplace module gives retail outlets a branded portal to order directly from the brand between rep visits. Online orders follow the same terms and customer history as orders taken in the field, without separate order entry. For brands with wide outlet networks, smaller accounts can reorder on their own schedule between sales rep visits.

Store Locator

The Store Locator adds a where-to-buy tool to the brand's own website, showing consumers which outlets carry its products. Since it can draw on the outlet accounts and order data already held in Salesia, the store list can reflect actual distribution rather than a manually maintained spreadsheet. This gives brands a way to direct online interest toward physical retailers carrying their products.

AI Assistant

Salesia's AI assistant lets reps and managers ask for the next step in their sales workflow in plain language. It handles requests such as "Show my order report for the last seven days," or "Which pharmacies have not reordered for 60 days?" For inactive pharmacies, the workflow can generate follow-up drafts with pre-filled order forms for review.
